Upload only videos, photographs, music, narration and other material that you created or are authorized to use. You are responsible for securing permissions for copyrighted material, recognizable people where required, and any music included in a video.

By uploading, you keep ownership of your content and grant GlobeLens a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, display and distribute it only to operate, promote and improve the service. The final terms should specify when this license ends after deletion.

Do not upload content that infringes copyright, violates privacy, or unlawfully exposes personal information. A real launch must provide a clear copyright complaint/takedown process, a repeat-infringer policy, and a contact for rights holders. These draft terms should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

Community guidelines

• Respect local communities, private property and restricted areas.
• Do not post dangerous, misleading, harassing or unlawful content.
• Do not publish another person's private details without permission.
• Ratings should reflect the video’s usefulness and quality, not target its creator.

Before launch, add reporting tools, moderation, an appeals route, and a way to report a rights or privacy concern.

Accessibility

GlobeLens aims to follow WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard access, visible focus, clear labels, sufficient contrast, responsive text, meaningful image descriptions and understandable errors.

• Provide captions and, where practical, transcripts for videos.
• Do not rely on color alone to communicate status or ratings.
• Give maps and globe controls keyboard alternatives and text-based location search.
• Test with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation and zoom before launch.

Use the A+ / A− controls in the header to adjust text size and the half-moon control to enable high contrast in this demo.
